ABOUT HILLSIDE FARM

We believe you should know exactly where your beef comes from—and trust how it’s raised.

My name is Mitchell Manley. I’m the one working the farm full time, walking you through the ordering process, and meeting you at delivery. My wife, Dolores, is the backbone of our operation—she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. We've been married since 2017 and have two young children, Matteo and Victoria, who are already growing up around farm life.

Farming has been a part of our family for more than five generations, dating back to the 1940s. What started with my great grandfather has been passed down through each generation, growing into the cattle operation we run today.

While our family has been raising cattle for generations, Hillside Farm as you know it today really began in 2015 when we purchased our first farm. We started with just 7 mama cows and began building our herd by raising their offspring.

In 2019, my dad approached me about helping sell some of his beef and help build up his clientele. At the time, he was finishing around 10–15 calves per year. With the help of social media and word of mouth, things quickly began to grow.

In just a few short years, we’ve had the opportunity to serve over 1,450 families with our beef and pork and have built a community of more than 6,400 people who follow and support what we do.

Today, we raise around 250–300 head of cattle each year, continuing the same commitment to quality, consistency, and doing things the right way.

But just as important as how we raise our animals is how we take care of our customers.

We work with each and every customer to make the process simple, straightforward, and done right—from placing your order to pickup day. Whether it’s your first time buying in bulk or you’ve been with us for years, we take pride in making sure you’re taken care of.

At Hillside Farm, we’re not just raising livestock—we’re continuing a family legacy and providing local families with food they can feel confident feeding their own.
